As a part of their exam performance for the course „Substainable Social Policy“, the students (Lutz Drieling, Alina Höller, Phillip Jochmann and Saskia Peek) were encouraged to present an EU funded project and create a poster. The students selected SPEAR, as they considered vital the role of gender equality in our society,
Especially in an academic environment, a new set of standards in research and teaching is inevitable. Gender shouldn’t be seen as a reason to treat humans differently. The SPEAR project aims to raise awareness and overcome existing problems and barriers related to gender inequality on a supranational level.
The students also engaged our SPEAR partner, Christine Steffens from RWTH Aachen University who presented the key actors of the project.
